Dawn of the Planet of the Apes Review

This time, I'm going to be talking about the sequel to the reboot of one of the maybe biggest franchise that has existed since 1968. this film is a sequel to the reboot film, Rise of the Planet of the Apes.

Here's my quick summary of Rise first. I couldn't get into it at first, but later on I gave it another chance and it's my favorite reboot of all time.

Dawn of the Planet of the Apes takes place ten years later of the events of Rise and there is thousands of people that managed to survive the Simenon Flu in what looks like a post-Apocalyptic San Francisco. While the apes live in the Redwood Forrest across from the humans. The military man played by Gary Oldman has been trying to establish contact with people but can't because they don't have power and the only way they can get power is by using the Dam over on the apes side. they agree to their terms to use the dam as long as they don't have any guns. One of them has a gun and ultimately one of them gets kicked out. But one of the apes goes to the civilization and steals one of their guns and shoots Cesar in the solder as the apes and humans go to war.

There is so much I could talk about the movie, but I can't give away the ending. So, You'll have to see it while it's still in theaters.

Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, I'd say it's worth buying on Blu-Ray. Plus it's spectacular that most likely you won't have to leave your seat.

With that said, I'll find another film to keep this reviews going, but I'm most likely going to be busy with the documentary and the fact that August is my birthday. I don't know, I figure things out as time goes.

good-bye.

Godzilla (2014) Review

This is a better American Godzilla movie than the 1998 movie.

I'm pleased with this and I might think about watching the movies released by Toho in the distant future.

The story is about Ford Brody as he is finding out about these mysterious stuff the government doesn't want them to see and the next thing you know, MUTO (which looks like a giant prey mantis) is free and roaming the earth. So now its up to Godzilla to fight this beast off and to get the military to send a nuke to destroy them.

What can I say about this? For one, the sequences are well done, it really threw me off guard when Bryan Cranston's (Walter White of Breaking Bad and Hal of Malcolm in the Middle) character dies in the movie, the roar from Godzilla, and the overall atmosphere of the movie (at least better than that other film.)

But there are a few flaws with this like the monster for the most part isn't revealed until I think at the half-way point.

but overall, it's a better adaptation. To quote Jeremyjahns, "Godzilla is worth buying on Blu-Ray."

Captain America: The Winter Soldier review

I honestly don't know what to say. I saw this movie in IMAX and it was great. a lot of great action sequences and a lot of twists I can't give away. If you haven't seen this yet, go and watch it now.

My rating four and a half robotic arms. (I'm rating this on what ever I could remember from the movie)

Frozen Review

OK, so I have just come from the theaters from seeing the newest Disney movie Frozen. and how is it...

It the most beautiful movie I've saw this year!

But in all honesty, It on my list of my all-time favorite movies.

The premise is a princess is getting coordinated and that princess is Elsa. Her sister Anna, is very pleased with this and has met a guy and wants to merry but her sister won't allow it. But Anna finds out her sister has the ability to make snow appear out of no where after ticking her off as Elsa hides up in the mountains. Thus Anna is after her to get her back.

I honestly don't know where to begin with this. The characters were animated pretty well and the ranges of emotions that the girls did really work out in this. The story is some of the finest I've ever seen on the big screen. As for the musical numbers, They are brilliant I loved, Let it go, Reindeer(s) are Better than People and Love is an Open Door.

Before the movie began, Their was a Mickey Mouse short that dealt with Pete after Minnie for the 12th time and the funny thing is it begins like an old cartoon but then when Mickey is off the screen it's suddenly it's like one of those cartoons that breaks the 4th wall. It's pretty funny and I did like it.

Honestly, don't take my word for it, go see it. It's filled with a lot of good laughs and some really good musical numbers that won't disappoint the adults and the kids.
